Video/Audio Lag when USB mixer is in use

Hello,

I've been having a problem with my Yamaha AG03 USB mixer. When I use the mixer, videos stutter and the the audio lags every 10 seconds or so. I recently just got the mixer back from Yamaha. It was being "repaired". Apparently, they ran some tests and determined that nothing was wrong.

This problem started to occur when I upgraded to an Intel I7 with a MSI Z97 Gaming 5 motherboard. I don't know if there's something I could do with the settings to rectify this issue or not. My guess is that it's the motherboard. I know the gaming 5 does something special with the USB ports for audio, that's a reason as to why I bought it.

Intel I7 4790K
MSI Z97 Gaming 5 Motherboard
WD 1TB HDD
Crucial 240GB SSD
4x - 8GB FuryX Ram
2x - Asus Strix GTX 970's in SLI
CoolerMaster EVO 212

same prob here, did you install Windows 10 on your PC? Which OS did you have on your previous system?

Well, I had Windows 7 Ultimate before switching and I didn't have the lag problem then. I had a sample rate reduction or like a bit rate reduction type thing happen every 10 minutes.

I actually just recently picked up a GTX 1080 to replace my 970's and the problem still occurs. I am pretty sure it's the mixer that is messed up. Funny too, especially considering the fact I spent 20 bucks to send it to them to "fix" it. I'll try contacting them again. I have researched this issue a lot and I have yet to find a solution.

I ended up selling the mixer. Couldn't fix it.
