Okay guys I'm finally coming to you with this problem, it's been going on for a long while and i'm sick of it now
Basically my problem is that when I play SOME video games on one monitor and have a twitch stream open on my other monitor, the twitch stream will slowly get more and more out of sync with video and audio
I have to refresh the twitch stream every 5 minutes or so for the audio to fix but then it just slowly goes out of sync again. I don't hear any problems with the audio so I'm assuming the video is not going as fast as the audio for some reason
My computer says it's running at 50% CPU at the highest with both running.
I've got an i7-7700k, gtx 1080ti, 16gb ram, 1tb ssd
I can't find anybody else with this problem except for this link, and I did what seemed to work for this guy even though it seemed unrelated and it doesn't fix anything for me https://forums.tomshardware.com/threads/video-slowly-loses-sync-with-audio.3302799/page-2?view=date
Please somebody help me fix this, if you need any other information let me know

Hello

As the link you shared says disabling Fast Boot helped the user, if the same method didn't work in your case, you can try updating the BIOS if available. You may also try checking for any Windows and Graphics Driver updates and install them if they are out.

If this doesn't help either, please try Clearing the CMOS (assuming that it is a desktop computer).

Feel free to report back if none of the above solutions solves your problem, and you need further assistance in this.

Cheers!!

Disabling Fast Boot worked for me a while back, but since getting a new computer I've run into the same problem and disabling Fast Boot didn't fixed it.

I've found that the audio only ever goes out of sync after waking up my computer from sleeping, but if I shutdown my computer completely it doesn't go out of sync.

All you have to do is shutdown your computer instead of putting it to sleep and the audio won't go out of sync.

Hope this helps.
