Video card and optical drive

So im doing my first build and I need to choose a video card and optical drive, I am not sure which ones will meet the needed standards. I will use this computer for moderate gaming, nothing extremely fancy and Possible recording. My budget isnt much and I would appreciate the help

So you are left with 50USD? At that price I don't know of any discrete GPU that is suited for moderate gaming considering that you also want an optical drive too.

For 50 USD you can get a HD7570 from ebay. It wont run BF3 at HIGH but you get what you pay for. If you can skip on the Opt. Drive then get this one.
If you can spend around 100USD i would recommend the HD7750, if you can hold out a bit and get the HD6850 for around 30USD more you will not regret it. Newegg has the 7750 for 95USD http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814102969
