So I'm planning on buying two more graphics cards to install in my computer (Sapphire DUAL-X R9 270 OC 2GB) and was wondering if I could crossfire them with my existing card, a Sapphire Technology Radeon R9 270 Overclocked 2048MB DDR5. Would this crossfire work? And with crossfire, can I use one ribbon to connect to a second card, and then from the second card connect to the third? Can crossfire be used in that way, or is it only capable when two cards are directly connected?

Solution
Yes the crossfire connector can go from the first card, to the second, and then to the third. Yes they're all r9 270's so they'd all work in crossfire, just that the cards will be set to run at the same clock rates.

So yes it will work if you have the power and if the r9 270 supports 3 way crossfire.
