I have recently completed a build essentially for viewing, editing and managing still images. That being said, it also may be used to game (but not the priority). The build consists of:
- i7-3770 (no overclocking)
- Asus P8H77-V mb
- 16GB DRAM
- 256GB SSD
- 1TB HDD
My plan was to use the motherboard's graphics; however, they are a bit weak. Plan B is perhaps re-installing my old GTX 260 video card...but maybe that is not such a great idea either. A friend suggested that perhaps buying a GTX 560 would be more cost and functionally effective....i.e., not the latest card and certainly better than the 260. I looked on line at literally dozens of versions of this card....Yikes!
First question; Does any of the above make sense? Second; if purchasing a new card does make sense...which one?
Thanks.
