When I have no video card drivers installed my computer is able to operate smoothly except for games. However, when I try to install the video card drivers from Nvidia it will cause my display to stop working midway through the installation. After re-booting the computer the display loss occurs when trying to load Windows.

I have switched out the RTX 2060 with my GTX 770, but instead of the display loss it will constantly freeze when trying to perform an action. The GTX 770 is also able to operate smoothly when I uninstall the video card drivers.

This is a new computer build except for my RTX 2060 and my SSD - these components were working fine in my previous build

Build
CPU: Ryzen 5 3600
GPU: MSI Gaming GeForce RTX 2060 / GTX 770
Motherboard: Asus ROG Strix x470-F gaming
RAM: TridentZ neo (2x 8GB) DDR4 3600 MHz CL16-19-19-39 1.35 V
PSU: Corsair RM850 ATX (80 Plus Gold)
SSD: Samsung EVO 1 TB 2.5 inch SATA III internal
Case: NZXT H710 ATX midtower

I have tried a different PSU and I have replaced the RAM because the previous set of RAM did not pass MemTest.
I have also replaced the motherboard with the same model with no improvement.

Any suggestions would be much appreciated!
