Hi,i want to upgrade my video card this summer. My cpu is a i5 2400 with Gigabyte H61M-DS2 motherboard and 8 gb ddr 1333mhz and my power supply is old (8 years old- september 2008) Antec EA-500 D. Resolution is 2560x1080 with and Lg 25UM65-P monitor
I got two questions:
1)Which is the best video card without change the power supply?
2)Which card is best without bottleneck and what power supply do you recommend ?

970 it's one of the best (not sure if my cpu it's strong enough for ,plus it's out of my budget if i must buy power supply) also 960gtx and r9 380 look nice but why 380 is weaker than 960 ? on other test i saw 380 is 20% faster

Admirable
on some games the 960 is faster, and on other games the 380 is faster. it really depends if your planning to play generally nvidia optimized games, or generally AMD optimized games.

at the end of the day, it's your choice.

also, don't judge a GPU, from just 1 benchmark. look at multiple, and see which one is better, in the larger picture.
