Hi,
I have a 4 year old AMD Athlon, upgraded to a 1.4 thunderbird cpu, but
with an older NVidia RIVA TNT2 model 64 video card I got with the
system in 2000, and have discovered that the new (used) NFSU that my
wife bought our son doesn't work (the option boxes all come up as
shaded rectangles with no words). Am looking for a video card that
will work (they say a minimum of a 32 meg NVidia GE Force 2, but I'm
looking for something better) that will work for a year or two until
the entire system needs to get upgraded.

This one seems like the most graphic-intense game he's gotten so far,
as the rest are basic war games like Medal of Honor series.

Any recommendations will be very much appreciated! Thanks.

GE Force 5700 (256MB) and up (GE Force 6800 recomended for U 2) will do the
job fine...
