The ideal would be 2 versions of the Quadro P4000, one with 16GB of ECC RAM for 4/5K monitors and one with 64GB for 8K monitors. This would fit in a single slot like the current P4000 so that the adjacent slot could be used.

Because of the gaming features on the current cards, they are too large and too expensive.

While obviously a smaller market than gaming, there is no competition so the vendor would be very successful. It would also be valuable for many engineering applications that have no need for gaming features.

I think if there was a single slot 64GB Quadro GPU it will be a lot more expensive than any gaming GPU.
To fit that much VRAM in a small profile, you will need high capacity chips, which are very expensive.

Just look at the 48GB Quadro RTX 8000 or the or the 32GB NVIDIA Tesla

For today, as 8K monitors are almost non-existent, the 16GB version would be fine. DDR6 ram chips, since the release P4000 have doubled in capacity, no additional space is needed.
