i though it was the problem why the video card wont workIt's ok to be scratches ... the contacts are gold plated (very thin layer) and gold is malleable, it scratches easily. There are contacts/pins inside the long connector on the motherboard which press on the pads to make good contact... so it's normal for friction to sometimes cause scratches.
I don't see anything wrong in that picture to be honest.
actually its not old it's a gt 1030 i bought it last yearIt could be that your graphic card is dead, scratched pins is normal, when you use a graphic card and put it into a PCI slot ofc there will be contact between them and scratches would happen.
And that graphic card seems old as well, it could be dead.
i have an old core 2 duo pc so i don t really know the power supply model but its 300wThat would be a good idea, test it in another computer.
Could you please mention your power supply model and brand?
