Video card just died??!?!

Hi, i went on a short ride on my motorcycle, and left a twitch stream up while i was gone. when i got back i heard a hummmm noise coming from my speakers and my computer was on, but un responsive, and my screen was black. so i restarted hoping for the best. I had no video, but i could hear windows log on. opened up my pc case, and my fans arent spinning. plugged in an old video card and it works fine.

the video card is a radeon r9 nitro 390x 8gb ram, i bought it about 6-7 months ago, and it appears it has already dided. any ideas what is wrong with it, and can it be fixed? thanks.

It should still be under warranty.

I would always advise against trying to fix it especially if it's under warranty as tampering with it could void the warranty and you'll just have a pricey paper weight if things go wrong.

yeah ive already contacted them via phone, waiting on an email from them. has a two year parts waranty, so all should be good. thanks wild card.
