I am going to be upgrading the video on a Foxconn 6100k8ma mobo that takes DDR400 (pc3200 184 pin) memory, will a video card PCIE 16 that uses DDR2 memory be compatible with this mobo?

The video card memory is not important. It has an impact on how fast the particular card is compared to other options. What matters is the interface between the motherboard and the card. In this case, your motherboard requires a PCI-E expansion card for video. Use one and all will be well...

No, graphics memory is irrelevant to system memory. To prove it, my X1950pro uses GDDR3 and my motherboard (a DS3), uses only DDR2.

Graphics memory is in fact called GDDR2 (3,4, w/e) and is slightly different from "regular" DDR2 etc. Hope this helps.
