I have an old Radeon X1650 that I still use on my dad's computer. Recently we got a barebones kit to replace the motherboard, cpu, case, and ram to upgrade his computer. He only uses the computer to watch videos , so I use the old video card as it has an S-video slot that I hook up to the tv. However, for some reason, the computer acts as if the graphics card is non-existant and doesn't display video in either of the two dvi ports or the s-video slot, and I can only get video out of the hdmi or vga port on the mother board. The new APU in question is the AMD A6 640K at 4.1ghz. I tried to change the video settings through the motherboard's uefi/bios, but it still acts as if the graphics card doesnt work. I can confirm that the graphics card is working properly, just not on the computer. I went through the ATI control centre and even that doesn't have any options to change video output.
