Video card problem

I have the GA 78LMT USB3 motherboard. When I use the on board video card there isa border on my monitor. I downloaded the most recent drivers from the gigabyte website. I installed another video card and the monitor went full screen. Is there a way to use the on board card and have the monitor go full screen?

Maybe a stupid question, but did you set the resolution right when using the onboard card?

Is it by any chance an Nvidia card with an HDMI connector?


EDIT: I misread your post - you're talking about on board. Drat.

See if the onboard card has settings for overscan. It was what I was going to suggest in the other case, because that's a common issue. Not sure if the same can happen with the integral card. If there are overscan settings, adjust in both directions and see if the border changes.
