Video card problem

Hey ! I recently bought a pc with ryzen 5 1600 , gtx 1080 , gigabyte ab350 gaming 3 . When i want to install a driver for video card , the driver crash. I need help fast , thanks !

Delete the install file
reboot the computer
Run CHKDSK /R on each drive that you either downloaded to or installed it to or BOTH.
download the install file again and attempt to install it again.

Also, more details help. Like, did you get an error message?

If the issue persists, you may want to try Driver Sweeper.

Ok , i will try , but what's CHKDSK /R ? How to do that ? Thanks a lot for fast answering !

CHKDSK is a utility built into windows that will fix errors on a HDD.
Don't do for a solid state drive.

You can google CHKDSK /R to learn more
You can type a command line or just...
right click on the drive
click on properties
click on the tools tab
Click "Check now..."
Put a checkmark in both boxes then click start
If it says you need to schedule this to run during a reboot say yes and then reboot to let it start.

My windows is installed on SSD . What happens if i sweep the old driver . I don't have any integrated video card ( ryzen ). Thanks !
