Configuration gives it those PCI numbers for assigning IRQ and so forth.

YOu might need to reload your chipset's AGP drivers and then your video card drivers

My chipsets AGP drivers...the ones on my mobo's CD, which would be an A7V600, is there anyway i could get the latest ones (as long as these are better to get) on the internet?

and then my video cards drivers, just to be sure, you mean nVidia's Detonator Drivers, correct?

...i pulled out my mobo's CD...the autoplay prog has 3 tabs...first of which is drivers:
VIA 4 in 1 drivers
audio drivers
raid drivers
network drivers (gigabit =)
USB 2.0 drivers

then the other 2 tabs are utilities:
ASUS PC Probe (im guessing its like motherboard monitor...)
ASUS Update (should i do this now, will it be a simple driver update or do i have to flash my comp?)
PC-CILLIN (i think this is an AV prog)
ADOBE acrobat
ASUS screen saver
then the third tab is contact info, none of which numbers are 800 (toll free =(

so what do i have to do to get the VGA drivers?

OMG! d0-0d, your VIDEO card was supposed to come with a CD also!

OK, the AGP drivers are built-into the VIA 4-in-1, you install the package. When it asks you, choose turbo mode. When asked to reboot, do it.

Then you have to install the VIDEO CARD driver from the CD that came with the VIDEO CARD.

nVidia calls them Detonator, ATI calls the Catalyst, Matrox calls the god knows what, they're all video card drivers.

Glad I could help, I think everyone in here had already assumed you had the "Detonators" installed.
