recently built my first pc {
ryzen 1600
ASRock AB350m pro4
G.Skill trident Z 3200
samsung evo 860 250GB
segate baracuda 2TB
MSI GTX 1050 LP
EVGA 430W power supply }

the gpu and power supp were from my attempt to make my laptop useful fr another 6 months by giving it an External Gpu, so that's whats why those are somewhat odd ones out on this build. also i sorta ran out of budget to get any more parts

now for the proplem:

after playing GTAV for two hours, the system 'crashed' , in the logs it said "power-kernal code 41" this crash did not occur during game play but rather within 10 minutes of quitting the game. then the computer came on, the GPU was no longer detected (not in MSI afterburner, nor windows, nor CAM), but still outputing to monitor just fine, to remedy the not detected part, i switched the card to slot 2 on the motherboard, worked fine.
today I played Elite: dangerous for 1 hour 15 mintues, and just as with GTAV, the card gave out once i quit the game, when i turn the computer on, fans still run, but now no display is output in ether PCIE slot.

what could be the potential issue here? i dont think its the card, and this Graphics Card does not use any extra power save from motherboard, so id imagine a power supply issue would just fry the whole board not the pcie slot.
it is worth noting that no visible damage in on ether Graphics Card pins nor inside the pcie lanes.

Im going to be calling the ASRock tech support later today to see what they say, but also wanted to see if anyone else had this issue or knows what the problem could be.

Solution
Most likely the GPU is defective and killing pcix ports on mobo or the mobo is having some issues and needs to be replaced.

After looking a bit, the mobo seems to be low end and has known issues
