Hello!

Well when I bought this computer some time ago I didn't intend for it to be my gaming machine. Let's just say the plan has changed. I bought an Intel E8400 @ 3.0 and a BFG 8800 GT 512 MB video card shortly after I bought the basic machine last summer. I really need to upgrade the motherboard as it was not meant for this kind of stuff so I was looking at motherboards and since I needed a new one I thought I might go with a XFX nForce 750i for something like a $130. The question I have is should I pick up another 8800 GT 512 to go with my pre existing one or should I not bother.

The other possibility is I could pick up the mother board and either a couple of 9800 GTX 512s or a single GTX 260.

Any suggestions?

Thanks.

You will be better off buying a single stronger card, not to mention you wont have to deal with the hassle of a mobo swap and a format. Besides, I cant suggest somebody buy an nvidia chipset.

Look for a HD 4890 or GTX 275.

Yeah I think I've decided to wait on the motherboard until I switch to 64bit Windows. I was thinking I'm using Windows 7 and the beta ends in a couple months and I'll need to reformat anyway.

Ahhh I just bought the GTX video card, I'm broke, motherboard will have to wait now. Thanks for the suggestions.
