Video Card upgrade.

My curent video card has PCI Express 16x. I Want to upgrade my card. Will PCI Express 16x 2.0 Work or fit in motherboard?

yes, they are backward compatible as well,so PCI Express 16x 3.0 will also work, but reducing performance too.

yes, pci-e is backwards compatiable.

meaning if u put a pci-e 2.0 in a pci-e 1.0 slot, the card would just run at pci-e 1.0.

and unless u r buying a really high end card, the diffrence would be minor to none.
