Video card

Hello,
I have a gateway fx dual core laptop computer with a built in radeon 200 hd video card, it keeps crashing and recovering. If the card is bad is the computer junk or is there a fix? Is it time for a new laptop?

It's about time for a new laptop. Repairing old laptops with obsolete parts is really god damn expensive (since it's hard to actually find the part...)

I would probably try a reformat first and see if your hard drive's bad....

Could be just a driver issue. Did you check on the Gateway website if a new driver is available?

I deleted the drivers and re installed new from gateway , still same problem. Hard drive is only 6 MONTHS OLD
