Video card

i have a s3prosavage ddr onboard video card,ram is 1.25gb,processor amd athlon xp 2400 ,hdd 115gb, 2nd hdd 76gb. i also have an ati radeon hd 2400 pro video card that i can't install, i have tried disabeling it from the control panel and i have went to my bios and tried to make it find the new video card and it still will not work can you help me with this problem.
