I want to have a video conference with a company. They have some hardware for video conferencing (Life Size brand or ...) but I don't have. Is it possible that I use software's and the other side uses hardware.
Impossible to answer without knowing specifically what they're using and then checking w/ the manufacturer. For example, it could very well be the case that someone using dedicated hardware (because it's portable, more efficient, faster, etc.) and implements say, Skype, could interoperate w/ Skype running on your computer. It’s entirely plausible. But without more details, we’re just speculating.
