So I just bought a couple computer parts to throw together a computer. AMD A4-3400 processor, asus f1 a75-v pro, 8 gigs of ram, etc. So the motherboard has an hdmi out on it. I go to plug in my computer into the hdmi on my tv with it, nothing. Just a black screen. Last night it worked but I changed some settings in the bios to use the onboard graphics from the APU. Since that didn't work I went to plug in a vga into the comp and tv. The tv displayed "mode not supported" then I grabbed my laptop and plugged the vga in from there to the tv and it started configuring the tv. So my laptop works but my pc doesn't. What could be causing my pc not to work with the tv but the laptop does?

I hope this is the right section. If not then feel free to move it! :)

I hooked my comp up to a comp monitor and got it all set up and configured everything and now I can use vga to my tv but not the hdmi. It simply says "no input"
