Im new to the whole build a pc thing so i have a build in mind but im not so sure if its up to the task.(i dont want an ssd since its to pricey and i would like a large amount of storage)
-Ryzen 5 1600
-Gtx 1060 3gb
-GIGABYTE GA-AB350-Gaming AMD RYZEN AM4 B350
-Seagate 2TB BarraCuda SATA 6Gb/s 64MB Cache 3.5-Inch Internal Hard Drive
-rosewill mid atx tyrfing case
-Cooler Master MasterLiquid Lite 240 All-in-one CPU Liquid Cooler

For the power supply and ram(16gb) just give me ur preference since idk which is best. Yes i am buying a good soundcard.

Im not looking for a fancy build just something to do the job well enough.(plus i dont play games at max setting anyways)

Solution
Whatever you get make sure its 2 sticks so you can take advantage of dual channel. As far as cooler you can get a large air cooler and be fine for overclocking. Noctua coolers are very quiet.
Heres some ram

PSU EVGA or Corsair are my preferred brands.

As far as sound cards you may want to watch this before you go and spend money on one.

Is this build a little over kill??like can i get the same result if i went a little cheaper is it fine as is

Cheapest ram and quality PSU I could find; I mean you can get a PSU for like 30 bucks but you're are just asking for garbage and why risk all your components on that. 8GB is pretty much the lowest you want these days and its far better to have it in dual channel configuration 2x4GB sticks.

And to be honest I would reconsider that cooler. The stock cooler will work as long as your not overclocking

I personally prefer Noctua, although I think you will have to buy the https://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=13C-0005-00114 for the AM4 socket.

I will be overclocking Thats why i had that cooler in. And would it be cheaper to buy 2(8bg) or 1(16gb) stick vs 4(rgb) sticks??or does it depend on wat i find
