hi. this would be my first build. it's at about $1080 now and i'd like to keep it in that range. it's mainly for editing video.

The gt430 may or may not cut it for you. its a pretty weak card. i dont know much about how much power you need fro video editing but just throwing that out there. and here are better cards for 70 bucks such as http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814102952

but thats only if you HAVE to get a $70 card.

that card that you mentioned does look good. i'll probably get that instead of the card i have listed.

is a video card a big deal for editing? my understanding was that a fast cpu and ram are needed for rendering the video, but not the video card. is there a big advantage to having a faster video card in video editing?
