Hi this is my first time building a computer and I want it to mostly be my last. I need a future safe video editing computer for $2,500 or less.

My Requirments:

I will be editing 4K footage and will be using big files of video to render and store so storage is a must

I need at least 32 gs of ram

I will also be using special effects and cgi so a sufficient gpu is needed

I game a little bit

I did a bit of research on intel vs ryzen processors and wanted to know which would be more efficient. I thinking more towards intel.

I want to use this case:

Corsair Carbide 400c Compact Mid-Tower-Black

I wasn’t sure what motherboard would fit.

Any information on a build would be most helpful!!!

This is high core count beast depending on the software you use this may come handy. If software you use is satisfied with limited cores and supported by GPU acceleration then Intel i9-9900K will be better. But if the software utilizes more cores and scales well I recommend AMD Threadripper.
Throw those HDDs in Raid 1 to be on secure side.

Solution
You can mount the radiator on the top and there's an extra ML120 fan for the rear exhaust.
