Intel Core i7-4770 Processor (300$)

Gtx 760 (250$)

16gb 1600mhz ram (120$ But I am attempting to search for some cheaper ram...)

Some junky optical drive (10$)

Mobo (110$)

Asus Intel B85-Plus Motherboard - ATX, Socket LGA1150, Intel B85 Express Chipset, 1600MHz DDR3, SATA 6.0 Gb/s, 8-Channel Audio, Gigabit LAN, CrossFireX Ready, USB 3.0

PSU: Need advice on this, I'm not very knownledgable when it comes to PSUs

SSD: There are such a ridiculous amount of ssds that I can't seem to pick.

However, I am looking for a ~256gb ssd.

I do not need a 1tb hard drive or anything like that because I always delete my video files when I am done with them.

Everything else looks fine, you can go m-atx even, you do not need a full sized motherboard.

That SSD looks great.

However, there appear to be a large number of reviews / comments of that PSU dieing quickly.

Always reviews like that for most products. Seasonic is one of the best power supply makers out there, can't go wrong with them in my opinion. I could recommend other ones if you do not feel comfortable with that one.

What type of Video editing? if its standard video editing then almost any decent gaming rig will have the power to do that for what your wanting. If its animation then you might be looking for something a bit different. possibly looking into SLI or Crossfire at that point for the quicker rendering
