Question video editing

Although I understand inherently what "best" means audio is very subjective.

We all hear things differently.

Is there some specific audio issue or problem that needs to be addressed; e.g., too much bass, stuttering, mono versus stereo.

Overall, there are likely to be some trade-offs involved with respect to the editing process and desired end results.

What video editing and audio options do you have available? What software are you using to edit the videos and add/edit the audio? Computer hardware specs and OS?

More information is needed

Don't quite understand your question, but as a professional video producer, I'd say that if you want good audio in the videos that you are editing THE MOST IMPORTANT FACTOR is recording good, clean audio in the first place - use quality mics and get those mics as close to the person or sound that your are trying to record. Nothing in your editing software is going to make up for recording the best audio that you can get in the first place. If you capture good enough audio, you may not have to do much to it in post.

That being said - light noise reduction can help if there's some hum or hiss in the background, and also a little EQ tweek is always nice. But watch out, both of these filters if done incorrectly, can actually make your audio WORSE! - which is why, as said above, it's always better to record good audio in the first place.
