Hello, i have a video file on my laptop which is a large file (27.1GB) which i was trying to upload to youtube and it says it will take 3000+ hours. My son has a gaming PC which is a lot faster than my laptop, so i took out his SSD (OS drive) and plugged it into a Sata docking station i have and copied the video file into the video folder via the users file, videos folder.
After it has finished coping the file it shows up in the video folder even when i switch the docking station off and back on again i can navigate to the video folder and it shows the video in the folder, but when i unplug the SSD and install it back into my sons PC the video has gone.
When i right click onto the video folder and it shows me the folder size it does not even show 27GB in the folder only the size of one of his videos which is about 5GB which was a;ready in there previous. so why after i unplug the drive does go.
My laptop is Windows 7 64bit and my sons gaming PC is Windows 8 64bit
