Question Video Games that I have crash (GTA San Andreas, Minecraft)

I played both GTA San Andreas and Minecraft on this same computer, but got bored of the game so I uninstalled it, now I installed it again because I want to play it again, I first installed GTA San Andreas, I played it for around 1 minute when the game froze, and not even 3 seconds later, the screen turns black and stays like it for 2-7 seconds, then the game continues normally but the black screen and the game freeze happen every minute, after around 4 black screens I either get the BSOD, or the game just crashes, which is very unusual, I've never experienced such, I'm not sure what the hell is going on, but here are my PC specs
Processor: Pentium Dual-Core CPU E5200 @ 2.50 GHz 2.50 GHz
RAM: 3GB
OS: Windows 7 32-bit
Graphics Card: Radeon X1300 / X1550 Series, Approx. Total Memory 1502 MB
Also, the BSOD does not appear while playing Minecraft, only GTA San Andreas, but sometimes while playing GTA San Andreas I get a crash or BSOD, not for Minecraft, It just crashes. The BSOD code is 0x00000116
I've been trying to troubleshoot this problem but had no luck I really hope somebody can help me here. Thanks

0x116 is VIDEO_TDR_ ERROR
The GPU is taking more time than permitted to display graphics to your monitor. This behavior can occur for one or more of the following reasons:

• You may need to install the latest updates for your display driver, so that it properly supports the TDR process.
• Hardware issues that impact the ability of the video card to operate properly, including:
  • Over-clocked components, such as the motherboard
  • Incorrect component compatibility and settings (especially memory configuration and timings)
  • Insufficient system cooling
  • Insufficient system power
  • Defective parts (memory modules, motherboards, etc.)
• Visual effects, or too many programs running in the background may be slowing your PC down so that the video card can not respond as necessary.

Make sure you are at stock clocks, and have plenty of cooling.

Make sure all your fans are running (including the GPU) and your system is well cleaned / dusted out and airflow paths clear.

No mention of your power supply.......????? Is it old, / cheap / going bad???

You can clean out the graphics driver in safe mode with DDU, then reinstall, to see if that helps.

Anything using GPU hardware acceleration in the background???

Disable all overlays

Is the video card itself going bad??? That is a 2005/2007 product timeframe.
