Question Video Memory Management Internal error - upgrade Windows 11 - Razer Blade 15 Advanced Model 2021

Since I installed Windows 11 after 10 version on my 2021 Razer Blade 15 Advanced model (nvidia rtx3070 mobile gpu), I have been experiencing blue screens with the message 'Video Memory Management Internal' and Kernel Power source issue on event viewer, even when the computer is doing nothing. I have also noticed that, compared to before, the fans are running loudly even when the computer is not performing any major tasks.

I have tried all the solutions I found online, such as reinstalling the graphics drivers, cleaning the registry via CMD, and even formatting the laptop, but the problem persists. I can't even figure out the pattern of when it happens.

Below, I am sharing the minidump files of the most recent error:
https://drive.google.com/file/d/1iikD4WHQ5SwrfmLBSA0WrLy2pj1tVCrT/view?usp=sharing

I analyzed all the minidumb files via windbg and the problem seems to be:
FAILURE_BUCKET_ID: 0x10e_2d_dxgmms2!VIDMM_PAGE_TABLE_BASE::GetCpuVisibleAddress

Any ideas how to solve it?

Thanks,
Andrea

Welcome to the forums, newcomer!

Are you on the latest BIOS version for your laptop? Recreating the bootable USB installer for Windows 11 would be a start.

I went looking for the specs to the laptop. Is this;
https://mysupport.razer.com/app/ans...5-advanced-(2021)-|-rz09-0367x-support-&-faqs
what you're working with?

If so, are you working with one physical drive? If one physical drive, do you have multiple partitions on it? If you have a secondary internal drive, I'd advise removing it, backing up all mission critical data from the OS drive, then removing all partitions on said OS drive, recreating it when you're reinstalling Windows 11 in offline mode.

Install all necessary drivers with the latest version in an elevated command, i.e, Right click installer>Run as Administrator, soon after you've finished installing the OS in offline mode.

Hi Lutfij,
thanks for your answer!

Yes, it is razer blade 15 advanced model rz09-0367x and yes I do have two nvme, one main and the other one for data.
Could you provide me with the full link to the forum thread? It seems incomplete.

Thanks again,
Andrea
