So I recently uncovered an old bootleg famicom system.
The video and audio work, but the display is shifted down cutting off the bottom.
I tried the system on 2 TV's with a standard rca cable, and they both have the same problem. I tried different zoom settings, and one TV even had an option to offset the video, but it did nothing. So it seems that there's a problem with the input, not the TV settings.
I also tried the console on an old portable dvd player with a special rca to 3.5mm cable, and the video was was fine, no cropping.
Is it the cable? do I need a pal to ntsc converter?
Can anyone help me out?
Thanks
