Hello,
I am relatively new to this, so forgive me if this is a stupid question. We are
currently recording videos through S-video using an ATI capture card. Several
people have complained about the quality of the video output. There is a lack
of clarity of text on the screen, and everything looks just a bit "shaky" and
grainy. I am recording at the highest quality setting and in MPEG2 format, but
even on the preview screen the quality isn`t great. We are using high quality
cables. I am just wondering how much of a difference in picture quality we will
see if we switch to a much more expensive card, like an Osprey 200 series. Is
this something we should consider? Is there much difference in picture quality
between capture cards?
Thanks!
