Running brand new system. Had some heat issues over the weekend, but got them resolved. Fan died on GPU, then on Power Supply. Both have been replaced, including a brand new power supply. For some reason, computer randomly freezes or reboots, crashing games, when playing games. Diablo II, Battlefield 1942, etc. Anything in regular Windows carries no consequences. Need help on figuring out what is causing reboots/crash. Here are specs.

Asus P4G8X
P4 2.4
512 Corsair XMS Memory
Antec True Power 430
Ti4600
Audigy 1

Scoring 12200 in 3DMark.

Tech Support: "Hello, tech support, may I help you?"
Customer: (in a thick Russian accent) "Yes. Monitor is working fine but has sparks and smoke flying out back. Is ok?"

Could be heat damage to the GPU...

So when you do CPU intensive applications you dont get crashes?

If thats the case and it only occurs with games then its a video drive problem or graphics card bug.

try running with the side of your case off... check for overheating
