Video settings changed randomly, what does this mean?

I got home from class today and my computer was still locked and all that, but it was zoomed in over 1000% and in high contrast mode.

i did notice that when i logged in, the computer was very sluggish temporarily.
did some research and i cant find anything
what could have caused this and is there anything i need to do?

Maybe a video driver crash/recovery while you were at school. I would keep an eye on it and see if it happens again. If it does, try updating the GPU drivers, or if your using the latest already, try an older version.
