My plan is to have one box serve as an NVR, NAS and media server. OS will be Windows 10 pro running Plex media server and something like Blue Iris (4-6 ip cams) and VM FreeNas. I'd like to know if the parts list matches my needs and advise of any recommendations as I am new to this.

EVGA NEX PSU's are poor quality. Get a Seasonic or EVGA G2/GQ PSU.

Its a monster system really overbuilt in terms of the processor and ram. You could go cheaper and likely still get the same results probably save yourself $800. I say this because I own an IP camera system with the NVR that is included in the box, it can run 8 cameras and is the most basic of basic PC's. It really doesn't take much to run them. Serving files and media as well, unless you have like 8 people trying to stream at the same time, you don't need a 6 core hyperthreaded processor with liquid cooling (PS those Corsairs are known to be a bit noisy, so you won't even get the quiet benefit).

16gb of ram, or 32 if you want to be very very sure, an Xeon E3...

16gb of ram, or 32 if you want to be very very sure, an Xeon E3 1231v3, a good quiet air cooler like a Noctura NH-L9i, would all do the job just as well.

EDIT: Heres a quickie version I did:

This includes a motherboard with remote management so you don't even need to install a video card or hook up a monitor, you plug the IPMI ethernet port into your network, go to its IP in a browser, login, and you can install windows from there. I have almost the same board as I reccomended works excellently. After you're done you can setup remote desktop and just remote in from wherever.

Now you may decide on some different uses for the machine so this exact build may not work for you, especially if you plan to have it plugged in and outputting video to a TV or something. If you are we can change it up a bit.
