VIDEO_SCHEDULER_INTERNAL_ERROR BSOD on New PC?

Hello, I built my PC about a week ago and everything is brand new except I'm currently using my old GTX 660 graphics card until the 1070 comes out.

Anyways, today after opening Overwatch and EVGA Precision X at the same time I got my first blue screen. The Blue Screen was a Video_Scheduler_Internal_Error and it appears to be related to GPU drivers (which doesn't sound to be a problem) but it's horrifying to me because I built this PC to escape the numerous blue screens of my last one...

Is there anything to be concerned about or is this just something to expect every now and then?

best place to start with any BSOD is update motherboard and other associated drivers
then run driver booster and see what it finds

start by updating the BIOS to version f6 (microcode fixes for the CPU and video fixes)

(audio fix can fix bugs in the graphics driver)

this one depends on the correct functionof the USB ports, which depend on the correct function of the BIOS
misconfigured audio from the motherboard or a USB port can interfere with the sound support provided by the graphics card.
the graphic card has sound support for certain video cables like HDMI.
(be sure to pick up the new updated motherboard audio driver, then go into bios and reset it to defaults to make the system set up the hardware interrupts again)


it looks like there is some type of problem with your systems sleep/wakeup cycles.
(maybe they will go away after you update the BIOS and motherboard drivers and remove the winring0x64.sys driver)

Alright, I understand the BIOS thing (I just figured I'd let it stay unless I started having issues)

For Audio Drivers, I'm actually using a USB DAC so I figured I wouldn't need to install them as Realtek wouldn't have anything to do with them, is that incorrect?

A key server? Interesting, this is a brand new computer and everything is completely legitimate, guess a Malwarebytes scan is in order?

The WinRing0x64.sys is a part of EVGA Precision X I assume, so I probably shouldn't use that? Interestingly enough, the computer BSOD'd at the exact time I opened EVGA Precision X (while also opening Overwatch)

As for the sleep/wakeup cycles, that's even more interesting as I've never slept/woken my computer. I always shut it down since using a solid state, it isn't an issue anyways. Perhaps this is related to Microsoft's fast boot where it does a pseudohibernation on shutdown instead?
