Question Videocard - monitor issue

I have a 24 inch Philips monitor, an Asus rog strix B550-E gaming motherboard, and a Asus Radeon RX570 OC (8GB) video card. The motherboard and the videocard both connected to my Seasonic PSU. When I connect my monitor to the videocard with a HDMI cable the display says: "no video input".
Before that I tried the monitor with the hdmi cable on the laptop, it worked.
What could be the problem?

Hello,
Are you sure that you put the hdmi cable in the RX570 OC (8GB) video card? There is a possibility to make a mistake and put the cable in the integrated motherboard GPU. If this is the case, your monitor probably will have no signal. Check this.

Yes I put it to gpu's hdmi port.

Did you try to put the HDMI cable in the integrated motherboard GPU port to see if there is a signal?

Is this a new build or an upgrade to a new GPU or monitor?

Have you tried connecting via a DisplayPort or DVI-D cable?
