Videocard PCI 3.0 8x on a PCI 2.0 16x slot

Hello,

I want to ask if there is someone here who can know the following in certainty....

I want to know if it's gonna give me a problem to put a 3.0 8x PCI video-card into a 2.0 16x PCI slot and this with a new screen that gives me 2K resolution? Screen will be connected trough HDMI of course. Will this give me problems when watching movie at full HD & 2K or other problems? No games here.

No PCIE is backwards and forwards compatible. A PCIE 3.0 card will work just fine in a pcie 2.0 slot, it certainly wont affect your ability to watch movies.

Yes I know that it is compatible but when I put a 3.0 PCI 8 lane in a PCI 2.0 16X then I limit the Bandwidth.

PCI 2.0 16x= 8000MB/s where at PCI 3.0 8x in a PCI 2.0 16 gives me 4000MB/s because of the 8X and I want to know that I do not get into trouble with a 2k screen of 2560 x 1600.
