Videos dont fullscreen all the way all the time

Basically when I full screen YouTube sometimes it will look like this http://imgur.com/a/7ICKG
And then I have to unfullscreen and refullscreen, which is really annoying. It seems super random in terms of how often it happens.
Also happens on twitch, I assume other video players as well.

I cant see your pic but not every video is set at the aspect ratio of your screen, those that are not will not fill the screen

No but I press fullscreen, theres no reason it shouldn't work as it worked on my previous pc. Also, see if you can see this http://i.imgur.com/VNFodPR.png

That happens to me sometimes as well. I could be watching a flash video in full screen, and then when I switch to another video and go full screen, and the video is tiny, I do have to back out of full screen and go back in to have the video full screen.

I don't know why that happens, or how it happens. It just does.

Maybe there is something https://support.google.com/youtube/answer/6276924?hl=en here that could help solve that issue. I don't know.
