It doesnt happen all the time. For example.. in Facebook.. some posts will be fine for videos.. others often will start out 1 second ok. and then the rest is all horizontal lines.. i googled online and some said bad video drivers.. i uninstalled and reinstalled .. still same issue. Then i read about HEVC codecs for browsers?
I use Chrome browser most of the time and nothing shows up in the chrome store. plus if you ARE able to find HEVC codecs in the Windows Store. they charge you for it?. If it is HEVC codecs.. arent there places that provide it for free?
This problem happens on both my desktop and laptop. All drivers are up to date on both.
The desktop PC has:
Strix X370 motherboard
Ryzen 7 2700X CPU
Geforce 1070 Ti GPU
I have hardware acceleration enabled on both computers but it still does not help.
