Videos, Mouse Freezing

When i minimize things on my computer, it stops my mouse from moving untill the minimize animation is gone, it also freezes videos for like a split second too, its annoying me, after the animation is done my mouse would move to where i moved it after i clicked minimize, any idea why it is doing this?

Sorry, Fixed this by changing from windows 7 basic to windows 7 aero theme
