Hey everyone,

Just spent a lot of time searching forums and couldn't find much... However, I just bought a said Case/MOBO combo. The controller that came with the RGB fans is Thermaltake's Analog Controller... If I ordered a new controller, would I be able to connect my RGB's fans to the case and control the color? Or, are the fans only capable of being controlled by the controller themselves? Thanks in advance.

Solution
if the Thermaltake Analog Controller uses the regular 4pin RGB or 3pin aRGB cables and ports than yes.
if it has some type of Thermaltake proprietary cables/ports, more than likely no.

most of the latest models of RGB fans use the standard 4pin RGB or 3pin aRGB.
check if the fan's cables match the type(s) of RGB headers on your motherboard. if they do than any standard RGB controller will work for them.

being able to connect a 3rd party RGB/fan hub to the case's front panel RGB controller would be the same type of situation.
you would have to verify if the case's front panel uses standard connectors or Thermaltake proprietary ones.

what is it that you are trying to achieve with the new 3rd party controller vs the Thermaltake?

I would like to be able to adjust my rgb color to match motherboard, or show up in thermaltake’s
Proprietary program. The controller isn’t showing.
