How can I view / find out the last (and some before) action (copy, move, delete, etc.) in Win 11 before undoing?

I accidentally pressed a key or more and apparently triggered some kind of action, but I don't know what. A small window appeared briefly in which was shown that something was probably copied/moved or something like that.

It totally depends on what particular app was in focus when the unknown action took place, and thus if that particular app support the features you request
It doesn't obviously. So Win cannot help here?

Many thanks for the link, that would indeed have been would I had needed.

But I cannot find that Edit menu, respectively the Undo command. Where is it?

I didn't notice that the "superuser" post is 10.5 years old. The Edit menu was probably in Explorer, and has been removed.

I also don't see the "Undo" button in Windows 11 (it's there in Windows 10).

If you right click where the files are, you can see "Undo Rename" or "Undo Delete". That's semi-helpful, but not too detailed.

More detailed: Click on the "..." on the top, hold mouse over "Undo" and it will show more detailed info. Example: Undo Delete of 'asdf.txt'

Ah yes, that's probably what I had needed. So then one could click "Undo" and hold the mouse over each time to view the executet action until ones finds the action in question. And then clicking (almost) as often as before "Redo" to get back the actual state. And then correct the action in question manually.

As I just see, this obviously only works for a certain time, after a short while "Undo" is no longer available in the menu.
