Hello, my power supply blew up and i cant identify the ic no. on power supply of hp dc7900 motherboard listed ic904, please help. i need the ic no so as to replace

DC 7900 is a tower isnt it?

would be easier and cheaper to replace mobo
plus if one part went due to heat or power issues then you dont know what other parts are defective
