This is what i came up with, since i am a little tight on money.

Do i have all the necessary parts to build a computer? Do you guys know a good website that show in detail how to build a computer from scratch?

I have a monitor, speakers, cd drive, mouse, keyboard. Do i need cables or anything else? And also, please check out my wishlist and give your opinion on parts. Any suggestion is welcomed.

Note: I know i opened a topic before but i don't want to make mistake since this is first time.

That's one nice PC.

Although - I'd go skt939 if you were overclocking and get a 90nm chip.

Looks nice. Why the silent boost though? It's not a great cooler, just quiet. You wont be able to hear the fan that comes with the chip, so spending more for no real change seems a waste to me. Give the hsf that comes with, a try before you buy the silent boost.
The way I learned was to read the manual that came with my board. It was a long time ago, so the english in Asus manuals is much better.
Good balance in that system.

i made a couple of changes but this is final i think:

Isn't Ceramique for gluing the chip to the cooler?
Wouldn't Artic Silver 5 be better choice for that processor?
Just checking...

If you go with the OEM CPU, you will have to but a heatsink/fan as well. Might be better to get the retail version, comes with the HSF and a longer warranty.

XP2800+, Abit NF7, 1GB Dual-Channel DDR333, ATI R9800PRO 128MB, TT PurePower 420W, LG DVD+-R/RW

The place to shave $$$ is NOT OEM cpu over retail. 30 days versus 3 years. Average is about $9(US) difference in cost. You save at least $30 hsf cost, plus you get a warranty at about $3 per year.
