Hej guys,
Great to be here. You are all doing a great job. Three cheers to all.

I have a problem with a ViewSonic E771-4 monitor. Wondering if you would be kind to help out. The interface (I mean the horizontal geometry) is only half of the size of how the original screen should be, evethough I have fully adjusted the whole screen to full level as much as is allowed and I cannot increase it anymore (by the tweeking the buttons in front of the monitor). At the top and bottom there is atleast two inches to of screen that needs to be filled up.

The display adapter type is SiS 6330/670 with a clock frequency of 100Mhz, Engine 125Mhz and true color 1024x767. I have tried setting it to 800x600 also, no change. Furthermore, I don´t think it is the graphics adaptor, worked ok with an even older monitor.

What do I do, please help!!

Thanks and cheers,
screeny

Video cards can adjust display size too.

Look in Display Properties under Displays. The setting is not always in the same place with different drivers but it's usually there somewhere. The settings adjust the horizontal and vertical frequencies, that is they adjust the video signal.

You could also try downloading Powerstrip. Sometimes this program can detect video settings problems.
