Why go through the effort of making a product like this and ruin it with a crappy panel?

On the website for this display they indicate the vDisplay Manager software is required for some of the functionality which should also have color controls. However the software doesn't list this specific model as one it supports. This would be something useful to investigate since it could very well solve the colors situation.

No matter what having super limited OSD controls is a downside.

Assuming the colors thing could be resolved this doesn't seem to be too bad of a price for a portable display with a battery.
