ViewSonic VP930 Flashes Different Colours

Hello!

Out of the blue, my monitor started showing this behavior - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nefzdN8mpuU (the video in question is not mine, but the problem is the exact same).

It does not matter if the monitor is connected by DVI or not, it flashes even while unplugged.

While flashing, the OSD cannot be brought up and none of the buttons seem to do anything. I trired searching for instructions on how to perform a factory reset, but none of the methods I found seem to work (such as holding down the "Up" and "Power" buttons while turning on the monitor).

Any idea if this is fixable or is the monitor dead?

I'm not sure if I actually hard-resetted it correctly. I could not find official instructions on how to perform a factory reset in neither the customer nor the service manual.

As I said, it doesn't matter if it's connected to a PC or not, the behavior is still the same.

I have a suspicion that it might actually be performing an RGB test as described here on page 21 - http://www.go-gddq.com/upload/2011-07/11071515538802.pdf but I can't find any instructions on how to stop said test (that is, if it's actually performing that test in the first place...).
