So i'm currently having a weird problem with my computer monitor setup. I have my main monitor hooked up to my computer via displayport and to my ps4 via hdmi.
I have a button that cycles through inputs, so when i turn my ps4 off i can press it to switch back to the displayport input for my computer. I do this and it normally works fine. This time i did it and the image appears as if it is vibrating, though the monitor itself is not moving or making any noise.
I turned the monitor on and off, nothing. Pressing the button to cycle back through inputs doesnt fix it. What does fix it is turning on my second display and choosing "Extend these displays" in Windows. Anyone have any idea why this is happening? I'm thinking if I shut my system down it might fix the issue, but I'm really curious as to what is happening here.
Why is the monitor/pc fine when in dual monitor, but having the main monitor alone makes it act up. My second monitor is just an old Compaq I had, and setting it up as the main monitor does not produce the same problem, just the ViewSonic one.
